The movement and attacks are slightly different from the norm - a nice change of pace. On the good side, gameplay itself is awesome. This is not possible with this game - unless I assume that each person has to log onto their own Windows Live account. I have played some games with my son playing in parallel, and using the normal multiple save slots to save progress for both of us. One last complaint before I move on to the positives - I hate the fact that there is only 1 save slot for the entire game.
The game itself is pretty good, minus a couple of places where your character gets stuck, resulting in you having to go back to the last checkpoint. This was probably the worst piece of software that I ever had to deal with regarding installation and having to search forums to find out what file to download to even get the game running in the first place. Referencing the word 'wonder' in the review title, I was really referring to the fact that I was starting to wonder if I would ever get to play the game. Gears of War for PC - an engineering wonder!
